Prudential currently has an opening for a Human Resources Generalist in its Annuities business. Basd in Shelton, CT., this position will allow you to stretch your potential in an environment that values your talent, development and individuality. As a Human resources Generalist, you will build and meximize the efforts of the Annuities team. Key responsibilities of the position:
  • Serve as a key business partner for sales and strategic account management leaders.
  • Drive the talent management agenda focusing on talent identification, planning development and recruitment.
  • Work with business leaders and staffing partners to develop highly effective sales sourcing strategies and processes for attracting experienced sales talent and identifying emerging talent pools.
  • Develop and execute on-boarding, acceleration and development of new sales leaders and sales professionals.
  • Provide consultation and direction to leader on performance management, succession planning, compensation, change management and organizational effectiveness strategies.
  • Identify work environment initiatives to increase productivity, performance and employee satisfaction. Design metrics to track effectiveness of these initiatives.
  • Participate as a leader or member of project teams focusing on both human resources and organizational wide initiatives.
  • Leverage the expertise of internal business and human resources expertise in conjunction with research and external best practices to bring forth innovative solutions to difficult business challenges.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related business degree.
  • Minimum 10 years broad human resources experience.
  • Strong consultative, collaboration and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build business relationships and effectively interact with all level of leadership.
  • Sound knowledge of change management philosophies and methods, organizational design, project management, and executive coaching.
  • Ability to set vision and direction by ensuring human resources goals are aligned with business goals.
