Prudential's eBusiness Development Group (eDG) is a center of excellence
whose mission is to Internet enable Prudential's lines of business to
allow them to better serve their clients, producers and prospects and
drive incremental business value out of those relationships. Within eDG,
the Annuity eMarketing team is responsible for all aspects of Prudential
Annuities web sites.
In addition to the development and maintenance of the various web sites,
a key component of the services Annuity eMarketing provides is the
marketing of the various site's capabilities. The goal is to make sure
Prudential Annuities' most important clients, financial professionals,
understand all of the capabilities they have access to and how to use
those capabilities to their fullest advantage in growing and servicing
their business. Achieving that goal is a key component to Prudential
Annuities' multi-billion dollar sales goals as one of the leading
providers of advisor sold variable annuities. Accordingly, Prudential
Annuities is committed to growing its web capabilities marketing team.
The new Web Capabilities Marketing Associate, often referred to as the
Internal eWholesaler, will have direct responsibility for helping to
achieve and exceed those goals.
The Internal eWholesaler, will be responsible for supporting two
external eWholesalers in their web site marketing efforts. The Internal
eWholesaler will be based in Shelton, CT with limited travel required.
Specific responsibilities for this position include:
- Logistical support for the external eWholesalers, including
scheduling, shipping of materials, booking venues and venue setup
- Coordination with product wholesalers to identify needs and
opportunities in their respective territories
- Tracking and reporting metrics on meetings and other eWholesaler and
marketing activities
- Creation of marketing materials in support of the technology story,
including print collateral, presentations and other electronic marketing
materials.
- Conducting conference calls, webinars and other remote meetings
- Communicating with various internal stakeholders, including conducting
internal training meetings
- Providing demonstrations and one-on-one how to support for financial
professionals
- Travel to key meetings 2 or 3 times per year
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 - 3 years experience in the financial services
industry, preferably annuities
- Bachelors degree in technology, marketing or related field
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work in fast paced, high energy environment
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Familiarity with general web technologies and multiple browsers (IE,
Safari, FireFox)
- Outstanding verbal communication skills
- Any canddiate applying for this positon should either have
their Series 6 or be willing to take the exam to obtain the Series 6
licenses.
