Responsibilities/Job Description:
In this entry level position, you will perform semi-skilled mechanical
and manual work on equipment at compressor stations and natural gas
facilities throughout the regional underground pipeline system. The
position is based in Oxford, CT
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

Successful completion of the pre-employment physical and written testing
and drug screen
-
Valid driver's license.
-
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, shift, be on call and standby,
and travel overnight as required.

Ability to perform physically demanding activities in all weather
conditions.
-
Must reside within 30 Miles of the Oxford, CT compressor station.

Minimum Educational Requirements: High School Diploma/GED
Desired Qualifications:
-
Working knowledge of operations used in maintenance and repair of
pipelines and operational equipment.

Computer literacy with basic working knowledge of Excel, Word, and
Outlook software
-
Demonstrated technical and analytical skills via training, formal
education, and/or experience.

Ability to work independently with little to no direction

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-
Ability to work and contribute to a team environment where
inclusiveness, integrity, honesty, and openness if valued

Proven ability to drive and perform job duties safely.

Innovative problem solver without compromising Standard Operating
Procedures

Willing to assume responsibility and take initiative to resolve issues.

Two or Four year degree in technical field.
Comments:
Successful candidate must advance as a Pipeliner and successfully
progress to the first level of Utility Pipeliner within 5 years of
entering the Pipeliner progression. (Time requirements may be
adjusted by management based on previous experienced of candidate.)
